SAMS - Solid Acoustic Mass Shells
Unlike the hollow shells used by many acrylic in ear monitor manufacturers, Cosmic Ears have developed the SAMS process, integrating their ModTec drivers into a solid acrylic shell. This approach protects the internal components, provides a secure fit, and ensures your custom in ear monitors are durable enough for life on the road.
ModTec Drivers - A New Standard
Through extensive research and development, Cosmic Ears have created a proprietary balanced armature driver format. By packaging individual drivers and crossovers into a single, solid module, and pairing it with the SAMS process, they deliver a consistent, reliable output that defines the classic Cosmic Ears sound.
